The topic of online assessment has not just arrived in personnel selection and development since the Corona crisis. Nevertheless, the crisis has shown that digital personnel selection processes – especially in the form of online assessments – are becoming increasingly indispensable.
Back at the beginning of 2018, Prof. Obermann founded the IT subsidiary Brooklynmaxx to professionalize and expand our range of online assessment products. In doing so, Brooklynmaxx benefits from our years of experience and expertise in the field of aptitude diagnostics. At the same time, a growing team of IT experts ensures that substantial aptitude diagnostic concepts are translated into online assessment tools that are fun to use and offer an attractive candidate experience.
FROM ONLINE TEST PROCEDURES TO COMPLETE ONLINE ASSESSMENT
Digital methods such as video interviews or psychometric online testing were already widely used before the crisis. But the rapid acceleration of digital transformation requires many companies to upgrade further in the direction of online assessment. Brooklynmaxx offers a broad portfolio of online assessment tools. On the one hand, these are classic formats such as cognitive performance tests, personality or motivation questionnaires. These are particularly suitable for pre-selection or as a supplement to other diagnostic modules (e.g. interview or AC modules). Other online assessment formats already contain gamified elements and are therefore particularly suitable for setting an impulse in the direction of applicant attraction and employer branding. Brooklynmaxx also enables the fully digital implementation of assessment centers: through a multi-method approach and qualitative evaluation by professional assessors, the online assessment center is completely comparable to a face-to-face AC in terms of output and quality.
AC MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE ‚AC-App‘ FOR CONDUCTING FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE ASSESSMENT CENTERS
Whether face-to-face or online assessment center – the implementation is usually associated with a high administrative effort – time and personnel resources are required to a large extent. Together with our IT subsidiary Brooklynmaxx, we have therefore developed the AC management software „AC-App“. With the AC-App, the assessment is completely digitalized, and the evaluation or the creation of the results report is fully automated.
Conclusion: time and personnel resources are significantly reduced, thus enormous financial savings can be realized.
