Our company founder, Prof. Dr. Christof Obermann, has been one of the pioneers of the methodology since the publication of the first German-language monograph on the subject of assessment centers in 1992. Since then, we have managed numerous assessment projects for 10 DAX-30 companies and medium-sized enterprises in an international context with a team of permanently employed psychologists and assessment center specialists.
We believe in the two basic ideas of the assessment center: Several pairs of eyes see more than one person. Several methods back up the statements. This is always the combination of three method categories: Appreciation of the previous professional biography (e.g. through structured interviews), behavioral simulations (e.g. case study) and psychometric test procedures (e.g. on cognitive performance).

State of the art methodology in the assessment center means: Shortening of the observer-intensive attendance time through modern online assessments that run in advance. This means high-quality interviews and simulations developed according to current scientific principles (4th observation level, task-specific behavioral anchors, principle of trait activation). Modern assessment centers, this means considering valid and relevant competencies (agile world, VUCA world, self-motivation, learning agility). Modern assessment centers also mean taking potential and learning ability into account, because no one has ever fallen from the sky as a manager.
BEFORE AND AFTER CORONA - REMOTE ASSESSMENT CENTER
Through our AC app, we can make the entire assessment center process paperless and digital: Invitation of participants, schedule creation via an intelligent algorithm, recording of assessments, observer conference, report creation. This can be done completely digitally – either in face-to-face form or one of the video platforms or hybrid or via online assessments.
